Thank Goodness For Our Mommas!

On Friday we went to Matt's parents for a much needed visit. Katie and Danny were there too:) It's always entertaining watching all three of them fight for Mona's attention. My husband is BY FAR the worst. It's a total crack up. My mom-in-law surprised me with a couple of the best surprises ever!!!
She got me these super-duper adorable measuring cups! I'm so in love with them. I want to get something to hang them above my oven. Anyone know of anywhere that has anything like that? I bet World Market would...
She also got me this plate. Oh, how well she knows me... I don't think there is anything I love more than something that's yellow with a bird on it. Candy to my eyes! So pretty.
Today my Momma came to see us:) I was so glad. I haven't seen her for almost a month. I wish my dad could have came too... We had a great time. She treated us to our favorite Mediterranean restaurant and a movie:) We went to see Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson. We really enjoyed it. It was a good movie. It reminded me of Taken.
And, of course, we had to take a couple pictures with my baby:)
Yah for Moms! Okay, so maybe I'm only a kitty mommy but it totally still counts!

  1. I always love going to Davis to see my kids!! I had a great day! I always love going to your home and seeing all the new things you are working on and seeing the little treasures that Mona gets you! You are very blessed to have such a great mom and mother-in-law! :) I love you very much!

  3. Oh girlie those are so my style. So is your look sooo cute:)

  4. Oh Ashley, you are such a lucky girl. You're mom is so great and you have such a good relationship with her. And I love you so much, too. You have so many wonderful women in your life. Your mom, your grandmas, Katie, Sasha, Andrea, your aunts, cousins, Amy, friends. We need good women friends in our lives, and you have an abundance. Reminds me of the saying: Here's to good women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. Let's hear it for all the women we love! Mona
