I love all the flowers. I usually get a bouquet to put in the living room. There's nothing more cheerful than having fresh flowers in your house!
Doesn't this just make you want to make some jam?! Oooo, or some strawberry shortcake!
Oh well hello there Matt:)
Am I a total loser because I've never seen eggplants like this? They're so pretty.
There is absolutely nothing like fresh baked bread and pastries from this booth... Absolutely nothing.
There's a man who makes these baskets, rose bouquets and other things out of palm fronds. I don't know how he does it, but I want to learn! I just think it's the neatest thing.
This sweet lady has a booth every market with her adorable crafts. These are just a few of her little dish towels for your oven rack. I had never seen anything like these until I moved here. I'm going to buy one for my memaw :)
The kettle korn is a huge hit with the Schotts :) We'll get a huge bag and eat it until we're sick all night!
There's a lot of really cool shirts, totes, hats, children's clothes, and baby onesies in this booth. This is Matt's favorite tote. I'm going to sneak away and get it for him sometime soon... Shhhh ;)
I just love this little girl's face here, haha! So cute..
I never knew to layer in dry towel paper... Huh.
I want one of these awesome baskets so badly, but they're huge and we don't really have room for one. Aren't they cool?
Peek-a-boo!
There's a gorgeous rose garden with benches and trees and this beautiful statue. It's such a sweet little area to rest and listen to the band or sample the fruit you bought.
These were to die for. I love the colors of summer.
Yummmm!
After farmer's market the hubs and I went for a walk on one of the greenbelts. Of course, we had to stop to take some silly pics :)
I just love this guy.
What a coincidence! I went to the Farmer's Market today, too (in Sacramento). I got peaches, cucumbers for making pickles (which I may do tomorrow, Matt), some delicious sourdough cheese bread and a small bouquet of flowers. We could go to the FM together if we both (and I mean all three of us) weren't so lazy to drive and meet the other one. It looks like you had a great day! My favorite pictures? Matt trying to squeeze in a little nap and Peek a Boo. You guys crack me up. Can't wait to see you tomorrow, poopies. Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteOh, and those last pictures of Matt looking bald kinda scared me. me
